Frequently Asked Questions
What type of projects do you direct?
I direct corporate and commercial films with a human-centric lens - brand stories, executive presence pieces, internal communications, documentary-style profiles, campaign films, and event-driven content. My focus is always the same: real people, real emotion, and a clear narrative.
What’s your directing style?
I’d describe it as calm, intentional, and performance-friendly. Whether the subject is a CEO, employee, or customer, I create an environment where people feel comfortable on camera. The goal is authenticity—strong visuals and clean pacing without feeling overly “produced.”
Do you work with non-actors (executives, employees, real people)?
Yes - this is my specialty. Most of my work involves real people, not trained talent. I guide performance subtly, ask the right questions, and keep energy relaxed so the subject comes across confident, credible, and natural.
How involved are you in pre-production and creative development?
Very. I can plug in at any stage - from shaping the story and structure to writing interview questions, creating a shot approach, building a simple treatment, and collaborating with your internal team or agency. Strong prep creates smoother shoots and better storytelling.
What does it look like to work with you day-of shoot?
I run a tight, calm set. My goal is to keep the production moving while making everyone feel supported -especially leadership and stakeholders. I’m hands-on with interviews, visual storytelling, and continuity, and I work closely with crew to deliver high production value without unnecessary complexity.
Do you handle production too, or just directing?
Both. I can work as a director within an agency-led production, or I can direct and produce through my team at Diagonal Media—handling crew, gear, audio, lighting, location logistics, and post workflow. It’s flexible based on your needs.
